Hi there! I’m Sherrie Papa.
Sherrie Papa, Doctor of Chiropractic
As a busy mom myself, I know all too well how life can come to a grinding halt when someone in the house isn't feeling well. I've seen firsthand how illness and poor health don't just impact the individual but ripple out to affect the whole family, friend groups, and even the broader community. In recent years, we've all watched as headlines have trumpeted declining health, even as those in power promised to safeguard our well-being. But what I know to be true is that real, lasting health is an inside job - something that starts from within each of us. As a holistic chiropractor, I have a deep passion for empowering families to get and stay healthy, reclaiming that freedom and vitality.
My journey in chiropractic started at just 12 years old after a ski injury. I was so inspired by my childhood chiropractor that I decided then that I would be a chiropractor when I grew up. Luckily, I also grew up with parents and grandparents who made diet and lifestyle choices to support their health challenges, so this "lifestyle medicine" approach has always felt like a natural part of who I am. I believe that true health is the ultimate freedom - the freedom to show up fully for your loved ones, pursue your passions, and live life to the fullest. It's a privilege I don't take lightly, and I feel incredibly blessed to be in a profession where I can support and teach others to access their own healing potential.
After completing my education at Southern California University of Health Sciences and graduating cum laude in 2001, I spent nearly two decades practicing chiropractic and teaching yoga in Costa Mesa, California. But in 2019, I made the move to Williamson County, Tennessee, with my husband Brett and our three kids - Harper, Paisley, and Bodhi.
Outside of the office, you can find me homeschooling the little ones, hiking, doing yoga, tending to my garden and chickens, studying herbs and acupuncture, and daydreaming about trips to the beach. Community means the world to me, and I'm grateful to be part of Franklin's vibrant, health-conscious families.
Throughout my career, I've had the honor of working with all kinds of bodies - from professional athletes to busy corporate clients, new mamas, and growing kiddos. Now, I'm excited to serve YOU and help you achieve your unique health and wellness goals.
Whether you're seeking relief from brain fog, insomnia, neck pain, headaches, or back pain, optimizing your athletic performance, or simply wanting to nurture your family's overall well-being, I'm here to provide a collaborative space where you can focus on your healing.
